Slovenia (Schengen visa)
Please read carefuly. Anyone wishing to enter the Republic of Slovenia is subject to border control. Border control is organised at state borders and is only performed at designated border crossings. All passengers are subject to control. All participants who do not have a legal document to cross a border, will be rejected at the border control.
There are no exceptions for issuing the visa for crossing the Slovenian border.
Please note that you will have to obtain the visa for Slovenia indiviualy. The registrations you will fill up will be forwarded to the nearest Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia by ITF to provide procedure smoothly . As a general rule, the applicant shall apply for visa in person as soon as get the infromation where to apply.
ITF will provide the address of the nearest consulate in charge of issuing a valid Schengen visa for visa applicants coming from countries in which consular services of the Republic of Slovenia are not available.
Please, fill up the visa form and send it by fax: +386 1 4796 590. The registration form will be forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. ITF will inform you where is the nearest Embassy where you can apply for the Schengen visa if your country does not have the Slovenian representative.

UN laissez-passer holders:
Holders of a valid UN laissez-passer do not need a visa to enter Slovenia (regardless of citizenship).
EU/EEA citizens:
EU/EEA citizens may enter Slovenia with a valid identity card or passport.

When to apply for Schengen visa:
You have to apply for Schengen visa in due period of time before you plan to travel (at least 4 weeks before travelling).

Do I have to have travel insurance:
Travel insurance including medical cover and repatriation is required when you apply for your Schengen visa. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the Schengen States and cover the entire period of the person’s stay. The minimum coverage is 30 000 EUR.
What do I need for applying the visa:
- valid passport more than 3 months
- one coloured photo
- organizer’ (UNMAS) official letter of invitation
- filled up organizer’ form
- travel insurance

Participants of the meeting are exepmted from visa fee.
The embassy or consular post of the country which is the sole or main destination of the visit is responsible for deciding on a visa application.
If you intend to visit several Schengen countries but do not have a main destination, you should apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate post of the country which is your first point of entry.
On the basis of the agreements on the representation in visa matters concluded between Slovenia and other EU Member States (MS) you may as well apply for a Schengen visa at the embassy of other MS country though the main destination of your visit is Slovenia.

VISA REQUIREMENTS
A foreigner has to personally apply for a visa at the responsible diplomatic mission/consular office of the Republic of Croatia. In exceptional, justified cases, a foreigner does not have to apply for a visa personally, but does need to appear at the diplomatic mission/consular post once it is issued.
According to the Article 11 of the Regulation on the Visa Regime (holders of valid special travel documents issued by the United Nations or its specialised institutions (Laissez-Passer) shall be exempt from visa requirements for a stay of up to 90 days in the Republic of Croatia and for transit through its territory.

Along with the application form, a foreigner needs to submit:
- valid passport which term of validity is 3 months longer than the term of validity of the visa
- colour photo 30x35 mm
- documents that proves:
- the purpose of stay in the Republic of Croatia (letter of invitation)
- ensured accommodation and covered expenses of staying in the Republic of Croatia
- the intention of returning to homeland, i.e. the capacity to enter a third country
- means of travel
Visa is entered into a foreigner’s travel document.
In case the visa is not issued, the official person that received the application is obliged to orally disclose the reasons.
FEE:
Fee is charged at the moment of subbmitting the visa application.

Anyone wishing to enter the Republic of Croatia is subject to border control, which is organised and performed at designated border crossings. All participants who do not have a legal document to cross a border, will be rejected at the border control. The sole holding of visa does not grant the permission to cross the state border and enter the Republic of Croatia.
